Friday through Sunday May 5th, 6th and 7th. This big gathering of traditional small craft will include sailboats, canoes, kayaks, and more. The event is organized by the West Coast Trailer Sailing Squadron and is a regular event twice yearly in Cedar Key.

Be prepared to see the island city packed with lots of interesting small craft sailboats and the accompanying sailors. You will see day-sailors, canoes, kayaks and other small sailing vessels.

On Saturday May 6th at 7:30 pm they will have a potluck dinner at the Community Center on 809 6th Street. The cost is $12.00 The guest speaker will be Mike McGarry.

Cedar Key is a remarkable place to enjoy your boat with two National Wildlife Refuges- Cedar Keys NWR & the Lower Suwannee NWR. The scenic island community has an abundant wildlife selection and pristine waters.

The West Coast Trailer Sailing Squadron is a community of sailing friends. We gather together once or twice monthly to cruise or day-sail together. The cost to join is just $20.00 U.S. / year. If you have a small sailcraft, and would like to join the squadron, e-mail Ron at: hoddinr@mac.com
