The Cedar Key Sharks were defeated by Seven Rivers Christian 26 to 5.
CJ Parks, Kit Riley, and Brandon and Bradley Register scored four runs in the first inning.
Bradley Register had both a second and third base hit in the first and fourth inning and due to an RBI the team was awarded two points.
Bradley Register was brought home by CJ Parks in the second and fourth inning.
CJ Parks said, “We didn’t win but the boys played hard. Next game we will definitely put our teamwork into action and hopefully win.”

The baseball team started out the season with a loss against the Oak Hall Eagles. The final score of the evening was  Oak Hall 21- Cedar Key 1. TJ Jackson scored the one point with a sacrificed hit from Tyler Sloan.
Coach Joe said, "I am proud of the team it’s not all about winning. They did not give up and they played hard and had good sportsmanship. I told the team at the first practice that winners never quit no matter how many points that they may be down. They played hard until the end and it makes me proud to be a shark."
