The staff of the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges would like to thank Toni Collins, Levy historian and all her friends at the Cedar Key Historical Society who helped make last Saturday’s Holiday Light such a spectacular success. Today I saw the heart and soul of our community — the children of Cedar Key. Something that cannot be described but cherished. They seemed bewildered at first by the chance to do something special for those that care for them.
But their innocent spirit of giving should be our example of the season we so enjoy.

I live next to the Bauer property and want to clarify a couple items for the people who have written in support of the TNR program, believe there is a push to shut it down and do not want that to happen.
