AAA honors Levy students as region’s finest

 Two Levy County 5th grade students have been chosen among the Top 3 Safety Patrollers of the Year for the Southeastern U.S. Over 2,000 participate in the AAA Safety Patrol Program yearly. 

Two local students — Amanda Robinson from Cedar Key was voted 2nd place, and Dnika Appling from Williston Elementary School was chosen as 3rd place — were recognized in ceremonies on June 4. The No. 1 safety patroller was from Jacksonville.
