Four people, including one from Cedar Key, were arrested on Monday on a variety of felony charges relating to a break-in at a Williston home where about $20,000 in belongings — a safe, jewelry, prescription pills —plus a car were taken, according to a Levy County Sheriff's Department press release.

It appears all media outlets continue to influence the "oil market" and I am sure if they quit giving them this notoriety prices of crude oil would drop sharply. They are constantly promoting big business which apparently enhances their price gouging techniques. They do well enough without the media assistance, for sure. I am sure if you looked up greed in the dictionary you would see faces of all the "oil barons" throughout the world. Also, some of the nation's biggest retailers would definitely be among those "rich and famous" photographs.

Friday, March 21, there will be no school, so please use caution when traveling on SR24 and the streets of our wonderful little city, due to the children walking, riding bicycles, or playing near their respective homes. We never know when a loose ball will cross the street followed by an unsuspecting child, so please be fully aware during your travel time around the community. Always respect our older generation and children, as we love and appreciate all of them very much.
