A great time was had by both the dogs and their owners.

Cedar Key went to the dogs Thursday, Feb. 26, and everyone was just delighted about it because the pups were doing their community service raising money for the Canine Companions for Wounded Warriors, which provides trained service animals at no charge to recovering veterans.

The pups, many dressed in creative costumes, brought their owners to City Park at 4 p.m. to line up for a parade. Some dogs, whose humans knew better, did not dress up their canine companions.
