  • The Birds of a Feather 2016 Open Art Show will run until Sunday, March 27.

Cedar Key is uniquely situated in the middle of the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Key National Wildlife Refuge and is bisected by Florida’s Birding Trail and home to nationally recognized shore bird habitats. What better location to highlight the artists that create art focused on our feathered friends. Come share a little time with the art community of Cedar Key as we enjoy the art produced by regional artist that reflect this month’s theme, Birds of a Feather.

  • Nothing says Cedar Key more than a group of canines, and the Cedar Key Woman’s Club Canine Companions Parade said it all! Raising awareness for the Wounded Veterans Initiative, the event in the Cedar Key Park last Thursday brought together pooches and people and also raised funds towards new Canine Companions.
