Our Cedar Key Library is a treasure and its Librarian Molly Jubitz is a gem. (Um, she’s the pirate on the right with the Easter Bunny and some other pirates.)

Celebrate Molly Appreciation Day with the Friends of the Library at an Open House on Wednesday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Saturday, April 6, was the Cedar Key Arts Center opening of ‘Woman’s Work’, a creation of the talented local potter Amy Gernhardt.

The Faraway Inn's owners, Doreen and Oliver Bauer, greeted 60-70 children and their parents on Easter for a free egg hunt on the grounds.

The Awesome Wonderful Easter Egg Hunt at Faraway Inn entertained the children with face painting, glittering and tattooing, along with lunch.

Face Art was by by Lois Traverso-Hewel of Dizzy Izzy's Face and Body Painting.

The Easter Bunny also made an appearance and did photos with the children. Helping out in the celebration were members from the Pirates in Paradise.
