Police Chief Virgil Sandlin said Jonathan Lee Figueroa, 25, of Chiefland has been arrested and charged with grand theft in the disappearance of a trailer from a Gulf Boulevard home at about 11 a.m. on Dec. 6.
Sandlin said after putting word out that he was seeking a two-tone blue Mazda pickup, a man called to say he thought it was one he had sold to a Chiefland man a month earlier.
Sandlin said he contacted the Chiefland Police Department and the trailer was recovered two days after its disappearance and returned to its owner.
