Old Florida Celebration of the Arts, March 27 & 28

With the 51st Annual Spring Arts Festival just around the corner, Cedar Key businesses and residents are reminded of the following restrictions and road closures.

As in past years, the committee for the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts request the support of downtown property owners to cooperate with the city and festival coordinators by not allowing food vendors or non-juried artists to set up on their private properties in the downtown area (1st, 2nd, & 3rd St. from D to Depot). This request is made because of the committee’s desire to help local non-profit groups, which are set-up in the park, raise funds for their organizations. In addition, it shows respect to visiting artists who pay application and booth fees in addition to lodging to participate in the event.

Vendors without an approved Business Tax Receipt from the City of Cedar Key who are attempting to set-up food or art booths in public right-of-ways in the downtown area as described above, will be required to leave by the Cedar Key Police Department.

The Old Florida Celebration of the Arts Committee and City of Cedar appreciate your understanding and cooperation during out Annual Festival. Security and safety are our primary concerns.
