Sharks fall to the Crusaders
By Robert Kint
The varsity boy Sharks played the Ocala Christian Crusaders in a head-to-head battle on Tuesday, March 11. Unfortunately, the varsity baseball Sharks didn’t bring home the win and ended the game with a final score of 13-3. The boys were pumped while playing, having the varsity girls there to cheer them on.
“It was a tough game and we played hard. It was nice to see so many people there cheering us on, even though we didn’t win, the Crusaders knew we were there,” said senior Vince Bullard.
Sharks versus the Flashes

The varsity boy’s baseball team traveled to Hilliard on Saturday, March 16 for a doubleheader against the Hilliard Flashes. The boys played strong the first game, having a one run lead up until the 7th inning, when the Flashes scored two runs due to a defensive error by the Sharks.
The final score was 11-10. The second game – played only an hour after the first – was not as close. With a final score of 12-1, the boys were “tired and not only battling with the Flashers, but the umpires as well. However, they never stopped hustling and we as coaches are so proud of them,” said coach Charlie Parks.
