Zandy Zettler stood back alone and eyed the long wooden wall adjoining the Cedar Key Arts Center, pondering the flat black figures cast across its exterior under the noonday sun. The shadows, likenesses of children stretching and crouching, had been trapped there for days, awaiting the paint-dipped brush of tiny hands to set them free.
