Police activity runs the gamut

Cedar Key Police Chief Virgil Sandlin reports a range of arrests and warrants in the past couple weeks. Once again, drugs, trespassing, DUI’s and some vandalism prevailed.

Wednesday, Aug. 17, Officer Mike Cosseboom saw what he thought was a disabled vehicle along SR 24 but it then pulled out without headlights on. As he pulled the car over, he noticed a plastic bag being thrown from the passenger side into the bushes. It contained four small bags of a green leafy substance, he said.
