October's Artist of the Month

Robert Goodlett

By Ada Lang

The Cedar Keyhole announces Robert Goodlett, as the artist of the month for October.

Robert Goodlett, a native Floridian from Miami, began painting as a child and was inspired by the natural beauty in the area, including the Everglades, Atlantic beaches and exotic sunsets.

North Central Florida brought a new and different setting for him to pursue, with its breath-taking scenes of river-land marshes, lakes, pastures, ponds and estuaries. From coast to coast, north to south and everywhere in between, Florida is awesome – and Robert continues to paint it all.

His latest  oil on canvas works will be on display for the entire month of October at the Cedar Keyhole Gallery, daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also go to: www.robertgoodlett.com.

The Cedar Keyhole is located on 2nd Street, across from the Library and also maintains a display of many other works by over 20 contributors to its artists’ cooperative.  These works include paintings [oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors], metal works, stained glass, jewelry, fiber arts, leatherwork, pottery and woodworking among others.
