State Representative Leonard Bembry (D-Greenville) has announced the opening of a satellite office in House District 10.

The district office will be located at 23 Southeast 2nd Avenue in Chiefland. It will be housed in the old train depot that has been restored. The office will be staffed with a full time district secretary who will assist constituents in Dixie, Levy, Alachua, and Columbia counties.

“Having a satellite office in Chiefland will be great for our constituents,” said Rep. Bembry. “We tried to find a location that is easily accessible and convenient for the citizens of District 10,” continued Bembry.

“I encourage all citizens with concerns to contact our office for assistance. I am excited to have a location for constituents in Dixie, Levy, Alachua, and Columbia counties to go to without having to travel to Tallahassee”, said Rep. Bembry.

The office should be open within the next three weeks. In the interim, constituents may call the Tallahassee office at (850) 488-7870.
