Jennie Pinto made her way around town thanking the friends and neighbors who participated in a nearly week-long fundraising effort in her honor. Escorted by Ann and Ken Young, Jennie was visibly touched by the outpouring of support she witnessed on her trip around town. As she rode or walked through town, she saw signs in the windows of many businesses announcing participation in JennieFest. She encountered Pirates having a rummage sale, ladies selling baked goods, kids hawking lemonade, and Greeks getting dunked.
