The gift from Gay C. Cull of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is the use of her strip of land on Piney Point for the town’s annual July 4th fireworks show that closes the annual Clamerica festival.
The city has been looking for a new site for the fireworks show for several months after the officials who manage Atsena Otie said the fireworks could no longer be shot from the island, said Commissioner Heath Davis.
