Fund set up to help ailing Levy EMS paramedic

-A A +A

On Oct. 17 Paramedic Kenny Luzader suffered a massive heart attack while on duty at Levy County Department of Public Safety on Bronson transport unit Medic 1, according to Public Safety Director David Knowles.

He since has had open heart surgery and after some unexpected complications, he is on the road to recovery.

Luzader will be unable to return to work for several months while he is recuperating. While the sole provider of the household is recovering, he has his wife, Sherry and young daughter, Chloe by his side.

“Kenny has touched so many lives and given so much to his community throughout his life and his career, it is now time for us to give back to him,” Knowles said.

All funds will go directly to the Luzader family.
