Free phones for hearing impaired

Free Loud & Clear landline telephones for the hearing impaired will be distributed Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Audibel Hearing Center in Walmart Shopping Plaza, 2161 N.W. 11th Drive, Chiefland. For an appointment call 352-493-7830

Florida residents with a certified hearing loss are eligible to receive a free amplified phone from a non-profit Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. Cordless and corded phones for persons with mild to severe hearing loss are available at 23 distribution centers statewide.  

Limit one phone per customer.
