Fishing to bounce back this weekend

Hey guys and girls, women and men, and kids of all ages. Sorry, I just heard a circus commercial and it’s kinda stuck in my head. Also kinda fits, in an imaginary kinda way.

I have a right-on target report if you go fishing in the water, and if you hook a fish in the mouth. You will catch fish. I had an older fella stop me dead in my tracks to tell me that the other day. Well, I said, yes sir, those are very important steps to being successfull on the water.

Now for a cold front report, we had one. Bahaha. Okay, listen, I haven’t slept much in the last few days. But the fish did bite this weekend like I planned. I did catch some big trout, no “Boss Hogs”  but several over twenty. We managed a limit both days - one of 15 and one of ten - all nice, fat healthy fish.

Friday, the Redfish were pretty active right in front of that cold snap. As the front settled Saturday, they were not so active. We had to move baits to a creep and crawl technique.  My friends that fished with us didn’t do nowhere near as good as us using the same baits. We fished slow, they didn’t. Things to look for this week: I look for it to warm up. Bahaha, ok that’s the last one. This week and especially this weekend,  fishing will bounce back big time with this heat wave, if you will. I expect some really nice Redfish pics next week here in the report.

So until then, keep a rod in your hand and the line tight. See ya’ll next week...
