Ernol "Bud" Watson

Ernol "Bud" Watson, 79, of Cedar Key, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Florida Hospital-Flager in Palm Coast, after a long illness. Mr. Watson was born to Joe and Verona Watson on June 11, 1932, in Cedar Key.

He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Watson worked for more than 45 years in the oil and gas industry as a pipeline contractor. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Cedar Key. He loved his family and was lovingly known by his grand children as “Poppy.”
