Qualifying for the open seats two and four of Cedar Key's City Commission, and for seats one, three and five for the Cedar Key Water and Sewer District starts Monday, March 17.
Qualifying will close on Friday, March 21 at noon.
Prospective candidates for City Commission should come to City Hall for qualification, and be able to document that they are at least 18 years old and a full-time resident of the City of Cedar Key.
All seats are for two years, and elections will take place on May 6 at City Hall, not at Community Center, the site for non-local elections.
