Drug bust nets 4 arrests, plus bonus

Four Cedar Key residents and a man from Lake City were
arrested on Tuesday after a three-month investigation of drug
sales in Cedar Key by the Levy County Sheriff's Office.
Those arrested on drug charges are Richard Lee
Cantlebarry 45, Geneva F. Harris, 58, Jonathan N.
Thompson, 30, and Shannon Lynn Random, 41, all of Cedar
Key
Drug agents simultaneously served two search warrantsin the early morning operation that began with a complaint
to officers that the suspects were selling pills from a
residence.
Utilizing a confidential informant the officers supervised
as several purchases were made of morphine pills at a 2nd
Street residence in Cedar Key and Oxycodone pills at a
Southwest 72ND Place in Cedar Key.
While officers were executing search warrants at the
Southwest 72nd Street home they noticed Jeremy Stephens,
29, of Lake City, was walking in the area. A check showed
he was wanted on outstanding warrants for retail theft from
St. Johns County. Although Stephens was not involved in
any of the narcotics purchases, he was arrested on the warrants.
Cantlebarry is charged with sale of a controlled substance
(Morphine), possession of a controlled substance and maintaining
a drug dwelling. His bond is $30,000.
Harris is charged with two counts sale of controlled substance
(Morphine), two counts of possession of controlled
substance and maintaining a drug dwelling. Her bond is
$75,000.
Thompson is charged with sale of controlled substance
(Oxycodone), possession of controlled substance, possession
of cannabis and maintaining a drug dwelling. His bond
is $36,000.
Random is charged with maintaining a drug dwelling.
Her bond is $5,000.
