March

Artist of the Month

The Artist of the Month at the Cedar Keyhole is Connie  Starks. Starks is a potter who creates folk art-style face mugs, jugs, household items, as well as whimsical pottery  “critters”. Additionally, she makes “yarn bowls” – those wonderfully functional  bowls which keep knitters’ and crocheters’ yarn from becoming a knotted mess while they are working. Starks began making ceramics in 2004 and found her way to her specialty within five years.

The Cedar Keyhole, a 22 artist co-op, is located on 2nd St. The gallery is open seven days a week  from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Christmas and Thanksgiving .
