Manatee Springs State Park and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection are hosting the annual Clay Landing Days event Nov. 29 and 30, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Come and travel back in time and enjoy wagon and/or hay rides through the north end trail system, with an interpretation from a park ranger and re-enactors dressed in settler and Native American period attire. There will be encampments set up along the trail showing how earlier inhabitants lived, hunted and protected their land. Rides are free with park admission and will be accessible for all. Dress appropriately for the weather and don’t forget bug spray.
