The Cedar Key Arts Center is looking for volunteers to assistance at the Children’s Art Booth at the Cedar Key Arts Festival. They are looking for one or two people in shifts from 10-12:30 and from 12:30-3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14. They will be doing finger print drawings – which is a very simple project – and will have a jar available for donations. People can contact Donna Bushnell for more information or with the times they would prefer to help by calling 493-1807 or email email@example.com.
Also, OFCA needs a couple of more block captains for Saturday and Sunday. Block Captains volunteer either in the 9:30-1:30 and 1:30-5 time slots to provide help and hospitality to artists (booth sit if the artist needs to leave booth for bathroom break or lunch, bring water/lemodae if it’s hot, etc). It is one of the things artists really like about coming to Cedar Key as they feel valued and well cared for. If anyone is able to help, contact Allison Nelson at 543-9292 or Allison Nelson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
