Cedar Key Welcome Center is officially open for business

Last Wednesday night it became official:
the Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce is the
go-to place for a warm welcome and everything
you need to know about the island.
The crowd who attended the event under the
twinkling lights of the courtyard were the
first guests of the new and improved
Leading the welcome were Chamber
President Tina Ryan and Secretary Andrea
Dennison. A prayer was led by the Rev.
Daniel Carswell. The event was catered by
Peter and Gina Stefani, of the Island Room
Formerly known as the Cresswell House,
the CRA purchased and renovated the building
and the Chamber has a 3 year lease for
approximately $175 per month. The new
energy efficient windows and high-tech
insulation will help keep their utility bills
well under control.

on 2nd Street between Cook’s Cafe and the
Library and see what the new and improved
Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce can do
for you. They are open Thursday through
